Update

So here it is folks; the long-awaited update.....

St Martin was cool. We really felt like we belonged for a while so many, many thanks to Lindsay, Margy, Alan, Bo, Wendy, Patrick, Glen, Mike and everyone - it was a blast guys! It was also quite profitable to the tune of a brand new outboard for the dinghy not to mention pocket money and, most importantly, many beers and kareoke songs in great company.

But there is allways a time to move on and it was with mixed feelings (sad to be leaving, excited to be going somewhere new) that we motored thru the lagoon and out the bridge at Marigot Bay bound for Anguilla. A lovely sandy beach awaited us but we stayed only one night before pressing on to Virgin Gorda in the BVIs. Good weather and good timing on our trip meant that we arrived in Virgin Gorda (Spanish Town) after our first overnight passage since the Atlantic crossing early in the morning.

Currently we are in Trellis Bay using the free internet at The Last Resort. When I say "we" I mean myself, Susi and my father, who is visiting for 2 weeks. It's good to have a 3rd person onboard for a change and old Pa seems to be enjoying himself.

Hopefully we now have easy sailing and good weather to look forward to.
