The Good Life
The subtitle of this blog states smthing about going where the seas are warm and the sun shines; well, we are there. It's not perfect but it is rather nice and, at just over 2 E /day, the price is right. So V1494 will make this her home for the next 6 months (!) & Susi & I are settling into the good life.
Like Tom & Barbara we aim towards being self sufficient & you will see in the photos: Homemade bread, self-caught fish (can anyone identify the make & model of the fish?), homemade Bar B Q & homemade cake.
So where is this utopia? It's in the Canaries but more I wont say - we don't want the place overcrowded with bloody tourists!!

Well done on your trip, sound like you have found the perfect winter berth. Hope all goes well, I am a friend of Bev & Alan & lived aboard my boat for 3 years in the Med. Look foreward to your blog. Take care and be safe.
Thanks for that. But 6 months is too long!
We will push on in November. This is good as, amongst other things, I get to write more nonsense in this blog :)
